Feb 20, 2014 12:15 AM in response to Kylon Solomonby andyBall_uk,The latest Safari version for Leopard is 5.0.6 ; for Snow Leopard : 5.1.10
Lion & Mountain Lion have Safari 6.1.1 and Mavericks has Safari 7.0.1 but these are not suitable for older versions of OS X like Leopard & Snow Leopard.
You can check to see if your Macbook may be upgraded to Mavericks here, note that it will need to be
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later) and have at least 2GB of memory, although 4+ is much better.
Mountain Lion has the same requirements, but costs $20, read about Lion here ; (also $20)
Don't upgrade before backing up & confirming that an older apps will work with the newer OS.
