Facetime users report that my Facetime audio has static

The built-in mic on MacBook pro seems to prouce static-laden audio when in use. I can't reproduce the problem on my end by recording something with the built-in mic, and when I switch to a USB mic while on Facetime, the problem goes away.

I'm using Mavericks 10.9.1 on an 13" early 2011 Macbook Pro.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
