Good grief how do I transfer an mp4 from my ipad to my macbook

I have been trying to get an mp4 from my ipad to my macbook for a couple hours now. I can see it through itunes, under "On This Ipad" and "Movies", but I can't drag it onto my desktop. I dragged it onto my ipad from a different computer, but I can't drag it back onto a different desktop? Infuriating.

Finally found Wondershare's tunesgo and that did it.

no...wait...after I export to desktop it says the file is now an itunes locked file. unreal.

Next time try a good application on your mac or pc: Diskaid. Look at it.
