Q: Choose between payments

I have an account with Visa, and have added an Itunes card. I have my ipad for both personal as business use. The visa is my personal one, and the card is provided by my employer. I want to use the Visa for personal apps, and the card for buying apps for my job. Is there any way to choose a payment when buying an app? Now all payments go through the card, but I want to make a difference between personal and professional.

iPad, iOS 7.0.4

You can't chose how items are paid for, if you have a balance on your account then that will be used up first, before your credit card will start to be used.

How items are billed, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5582 :

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.

You could try gifting the apps to yourself that you want to be paid for by the credit card - you can't use an account's balance for gifting, you can only use a credit card. I haven't tried it myself, but as far I know gifting to yourself should work (you could try a cheap app first, just to check).
