unable to get my connection to do a extend?

I type everything the way it suppose to be and now it shows that this network is yellow light the password is type correctly and WPA2

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), 2.8GHZ i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
