Feb 20, 2014 8:58 AM in response to rhonda163by randers4,This is being caused by using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To stop this, one of you needs to go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. I(f you're sharing the same ID for FaceTime you should do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime to avoid getting each other's FaceTime calls.)
Note: you can contine to share the same ID for other services such as purchasing from the iTunes & App store while using separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime. The IDs you use for these services do not need to be the same.
