I have an imac and an iphone5. I am a retired lady with an active livestyle.
What would benefits of getting an ipad and which one would you recommend?
iPad, iOS 7, would appreciate responses asap.
Portability compared to your iMac. Readability compared to an iPhone. Having a iPad 4 I'd recommend a iPad Air, the mini for me is just way too small.
Portability and ease of use. If you plan on watching Movies from iTunes, reading e-mail while on the go on a larger screen than the iPhone, but less so than a full computer, and if you don't need the full features of a computer. The iPad offers a great tool to access many things in portable package.
Whether you can get a lot of use of it, and as such be a worthy investment depends entirely on what you want to do with it.
As to what model also depends largely on what you intend to do with it, and wether or not screen size is important.
I suggest you go to an Apple Store and try then out, hold them in your had, see which one feels more comfortable, and think about what you want to do with it and wether a touchscreen is practical for what you do.
