Previous Owner Unknown

Purchased a used iPad. It is asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password since the previous owner had it linked to their "Find my iPhone" feature. I do not know who the previous owner is to ask them to delete it. How can I set up this iPad under my own Apple ID and password?
