Will I be able to access my iWork '08 documents in the new version of Pages?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Pages 5 can not open Pages '08 files.


However Pages '08 stays on your Mac and gets moved to the Applications/iWork folder. You can export from Pages '08 to Word .doc/docx which Pages 5 can open but probably it will alter/damage the file.


Be warned that Pages 5 is a rolling beta and Apple has removed 100 features and added a lot of bugs, look before you leap.
