I'm looking too unlock my iphone from my cell phone carrier, And i need the unlock code too do this. my carrier will not give this tooo me because i want too go with a new cell company while using my iphone. how can I unlock my ohone from my carrier. uscellular do not use sim chips in the Iphones where ATT use's sim chips. So how can I unlock my phone .Can anyone help me on this.

They told you they won't unlock it because you are leaving?

The carrier & ONLY the carrier can unlock the phone.
Did you purchase it at full price?
Are you still under contract (iPhone was subsidized)?
I paid cash for the Iphone.paid full price for it. the plan for it is a prepaid plan. And now would like too change carriers and get away from uscellular. would like to go with AT&T or Verizon with my own phone. insted of buying a new phone from them.
It doesn't matter how much you paid for it. US Cellular does not offer unlocking.

I suggest you push it up the chain and and ask about the agreement filed with the FCC by the CTIA in December 2013.

I just saw that CTIA. and read it. and also printed it out. I did see in the artical that us cellular is in with the 6 companys. so I will be bring what I printed out with me, to us cellular store by me. and see if they will unlock my iphone.
