I have many a time pondered many great ideas for iPhone apps but without the knowledge of how to create them or people to ask to create them I lose them forever to be stowed away in my mind please advise on where to go for my ideas.

Go to a bookstore, a real paper bookstore, and check the books available on how to create apps. Recent visit to Barnes and Noble I found at least half a dozen books.
Drop down to the bottom of the forum groups on the left side of the ASC home page and see about joining the developer's forum...there is a fee for registering as a developer but you will have access to a number of the developers.
