Hi Verano78,

To restart, navigate your mouse cursor to the top left corner of the screen, and you should be able to see the apple logo. Click on it and you will see a drop down menu. There you will see "restart".

I guess you mean how can you make a full-screen window smaller so that the top menu bar appears. To do this, navigate to the top right corner and click your mouse, you will see a blue arror (two arrows pointing out), click on it and the window will shrink.

Let me know if this helps.

If for some reason the screen is not correctly sized to the display

and the main menu bar and window size is wrong, so you can't

use the main menu bar, you could try a reset using the keyboard

shortcuts according to the instructions on this page:

•About NVRAM and PRAM

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379

The settings for display, among other things are held in the 'non-volatile random access memory' or in an older build of Mac, in the 'parameter random access memory'. Thus those initials in Capitals, for their names.

If a regular restart didn't fix this; once the NVRAM is reset,

restart of the computer probably would re-size the computer.

And if the computer is running and you can't use the menu to

turn it off, you can press and hold the power button 15 sec.

Later on, a restart in SafeBoot may allow you to see the

System Preferences> Displays> settings to see what you have.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
