RSS WordPress SEO Not Downloading in iTunes

Okay, I have fixed a lot of what was messed up on this feed. When subscribing to it manually in iTunes, the feed populates but produces an error.

I have successfully downloaded two episodes through my phone (only one will download in iTunes). All the streams work via the [WordPress](www.theportlandtimbros.com) site without flaw but they are not downloadable. I have used two different RSS formats through WordPress and am currently reverted to the blubrry WordPress SEO plugin.

Can someone tell me how to fix the following error below or what is wrong with the site? Also, feel free to subscribe to the feed in iTunes.

iTunes support said to send them "www.theportlandtimbros.com/feed/" instead of "http://www.theportlandtimbros.com/feed/."

Your feed appears to be OK.The two URLs are the same thing - all URLs begin with http:// and if you enter the URL without it in a browser the browser will add it, so I don't know what they are talking about and I suspect they don't either. If they want it without the http try giving it to them that way.

However, there is a problem with the media file for the top episode; although it will play in a browser and when I downloaded it it looked perfectly OK, on subscribing iTunes downloaded it and then comlained that it might be corrupted or of a type iTune could not play.

I've seen this happen before but I don't know what the problem is - it might be some issue between the server and iTunes. It might even be local to me, so you should subscribe yourself and check that it really does download and play. If it does we can assume it's some oddity which only applies to my connection.

I had a closer look at one of your files. I subscribed and downloaded it with the same result. The file was moved to the 'Downloads' folder in iTunes, which is where interrupted downloads end up (so that they can be resumed). From there I moved it out and opened it in Amadeus Pro. At 65 minutes and 16 seconds it goes abruptly silent, the display not even showing the plain line which would be there if there was recorded silence:

User uploaded file

Amadeus shows the playhead as moving on to the end at 65 minute 19 seconds but then bounces back to where the end of the sound is.

However, when I read the feed in FireFox and downloaded the same file from the link there, the end was more normal:

User uploaded file

You will see that the waveform is displayed as a line - in fact it's not silence: the music ends very abruptly but there is faint reverberation and Amadeus plays this normally.

So the file is being corrupted in some whay when it's downloaded in iTunes. Possibly the server is giving slightly false information to iTunes as to the size of the file; I can only suggest taking this up with the people running your server. Both versions of the file show the same file size in Finder Info and this matches the 'length' attribute in your 'enclosure' tag; I can't offer an explanation.
