i AM NOT SEEING MY DEVICE ON ITUNES IS THERE SOMETHING i NEED TO DO

I plugged in my new iphone 5 and tried to sync to I tunes but i am not seeing my device to be able to sync it... Please help

You have teh latest version of iTunes installed on your computer ? If the phone isn't showing on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) then see if these troubleshooting pages help :
