Finder Show Resolution Column in non Pictures folders

This is really useful feature of mavericks.

In list view when in the pictures folder you can add the column 'Resolution"

Problem is most images are not in the Pictures folder, How can I get it across all the folders?

Maybe applescript? Terminal? Changing the plist file?

I found this.

Just add the word Pictures (capital P) to the front of your folder name, and you will miraculously get Dimensions and Resolution as a column option. Then just rename it back.

But on a daily basis perhaps not that practical?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
