Mar 9, 2014 12:04 PM in response to Periculaby dianeoforegon,With Mail selected...
Under Window in the Menu bar, select the Connection Doctor.
You should see green lights (2) for each account.
You can select Show Details (bottom right) to see what is not connecting.
To test a single account put all accounts but the one you want to troubleshoot into work offline mode.

Mar 10, 2014 10:23 AM in response to dianeoforegonby Pericula,Thank you all for your Help. I have copied all my emails from outlook and transfered over to the mac but have been unable to openned them in there current format hence the reason for the question.
Regarding Mail connection Doctor, there are always Red lights on my IMAP accounts but Green lights with SMTP.

Mar 10, 2014 11:04 AM in response to Periculaby Grant Lenahan,REading all the above you apparently have 2 problems:
1. your IMAP connection to the exchange server is broken. When you get that fied ( and this is almost always configuration and/or security), any mail that is still in your inbox/outbox etc will synchronize automatically. By configuration i mean server address, domain, etc. By security i mean that you MAY need a VPN up and running depending on how your IT departments organizes things. For OWA/activ sync, usually not.
2. You cant seem to download the utilities suggested. Wht's your error?

Mar 10, 2014 12:23 PM in response to Periculaby dianeoforegon,The red lights on incoming indicates an issue with your settings. Verify port required by your server and if you require SSL. Make the necessary changes under Advanced tab for your account.
When you import your pst files into Outlook for Mac explain exactly what you do to import. Imported data is under a folder in your folder list. See this article:
