iphone wouldn't connect to network 7.0.5 problems

Yesterday my phone signal was stated as 'Searching' for the whole day and was unable to detect any networks. I tried to download the latest updates for my iPhone 5s (7.0.5?) hoping it would resolve the issue, however itunes is now telling me my iphone must be restored to factory settings which is bad enough. But my problem is that it wont even let me do that. Error 26? I can't seem to complete the restoration due to this error 26 code.

Please help guys!

Cheers

Check for hardware issues

Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
