HP Officejet 8600 scan to computer won't work
I just purchased the HP Officejet 8600 Pro. It works great and was super simple to get going. However, I cannot Scan using the panel on the front of the printer. I select my computer, select the form I want to scan to, click Start Scan and it does nothing. The HP Scan software works, but that's if I want to have my Macbook Pro with me. I'd like to use the ability to just scan from the printer.
I noticed on the HP forum that this is not an unusual problem. I did a Repair Permissions and that didn't work. They also suggested deleting and reinstalling the software. I did not do that, since other did and it didn't work.
Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it?
