Tracks won't play in itunes - grey cloud syndrome
I don't have itunes match but some of my tracks have the grey icloud icon next to them displaying the download arrow and these tracks won't play - does anyone know why please?

Thanks for your reply, Axeman. When I click the cloud icon nothing happens, the cloud icon and the track name are greyed out - cheers
Make sure you are signed into the iTunes Store and the computer is authorized.
Thanks, Axeman. Have done that and still no joy.
Couple of things to try:
iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Warnings & Reset Cache > then Quit and relaunch
Sign out/in of the iTunes Store then try to download by clicking the cloud icon
Download the songs manually: go to iTunes Store and click Purchased in the Quick Links section on the right > sign in > Music > Download all

Regarding grey clouds...
All my songs are showing the grey clouds - though on my MAC all songs show to be downloaded. No clouds showing there. I'm syncing my phone and have iTunes match... doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggestions?
