Hardware Registration Information Security

This topic isnt really covered by the established communities.

Over the past few weeks I have received several emails from Apple asking me for feedback (customer satisfaction) on hardware I have purchased and registered with Apple (iPad, iMac, Time Capsule) - all hardware I own but for which I have made no service requests.

I'm concerned that the security of this information held by Apple has been compromised.

Has anyone else being receiving unexpected requests for product service satisfaction?

I've sent feedback to Apple on this through the feedback site at http://www.apple.com/feedback/imac.html

You may well have spotted a new phishing attempt. What was the sender's email address?
