SSD on Macbook pro mid 2010

Hi everyone! I want to switch to a new SSD for my macbook pro mid 2010. I have two alternatives: the crucial m500 and the samsung evo 840. Considering bus transfer speed (only 3 Gbps for my mid 2010), can I fully take advantage of the evo 840, or am I wasting money? I've heard that m500 is less fast than samsung evo, but maybe for such an old macbook the difference is not visibile because of the transfer speed, isn't it?

Any suggest wolud be much appreciated, thanks.

I've got a Crucial M4 in my mid-2010. That's the previous version of the SSD. Mine is also a 6gbps drive, so I'm not getting the full possible speed either, but I have to tell you in my opinion the thing screams. It's better than getting a new computer. I've never used a Samsung SSD, but I've heard of some problems with Macs. The Crucial has run like a charm from day one.
