Q: iMovie show error 1712

Since yesterday night, my imovie shows error of 1712.

I have no idea how to solve it.

Between, I was using imovie but out of sudden, it show not responding.

Then after that, it can't be open anymore.

I really need help, i have project in it that i need to pass up on Monday.

If not, tells me where to find my file in my mac.

URGENT, please help.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

1. Pregunte a un especialista de Apple.

2. Me pasa lo mismo desde mediados de esta semana y sospecho que debo subir la memoria ram al máximo de 4 a 8gb.

Is this the new iMovie10 for Mavericks or the previous version 9? If it is 10 then try 9 (should be in your iMovie folder that Mavericks created after the upgrade) and see what happens.

If you haven't already done so, restart and try again. If an application won't quit and prevents restarting, force quit. As a last resort, force a shutdown by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Then press it again briefly to start up.
