Q: The iPhone is a pretty mature platform. Why is group messaging so primitive?

The iPhone is a pretty mature platform. Why is group messaging so primitive? You cannot edit the members of a group (cut,copy, paste, delete) without creating a whole new message. I don't understand it.

They pretty much invented cut,copy, paste. This problem should have been fixed years ago.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4
