my ipod says its connected to my wifi but when i get on google or kik it says no wifi but shows wifi on the top left screen plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!! help me:(

Have you confirmed your internet service is working? Your iPod is receiving a signal from your router, but is your router receiving a signal? Try checking the router first... is it working and receiving a signal? If not try turning off the power to the router and/or resetting. If it is working, try a soft reset on your iPod second. Press and hold the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, usually within 15 seconds, then release both buttons. If that doesn't work, try Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. If still not working try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. As a last resort try Restore from backup or Restore to New. If all the above fail, contact Apple Genius Bar and have your iPod evaluated. Good luck.

Do other devices now connect?

Did the iOS device connect before?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on your router

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
