Movie mirroring

When I mirror a downloaded movie from iTunes on my Apple TV it runs for 10 minutes then freezes, then if I wait for 10 minutes it goes to the next chapter and might run for another 10 or 15 minutes then freezes again. It basically takes me twice the time to watch a movie when it is mirrored through my iPad. This never happened before iOS 7 was installed. What can I do? I want the movie on my iPad but still want to watch it on Apple TV . Help!

What's the reasoning behind streaming from iPad vs viewing directly on ATV?

Have you checked for network interference? You can use istumbler or netstumbler to verify.

I unplugged Apple TV and plugged it in again. It must have reset. I just watched a complete movie through mirroring and no freezing. Guess it just had to be reset for some reason. Thanks.

Unplugging will reboot the unit. It will reset the network connection as well. If it happens again I would check your network.
