If you see it, just restart your computer, If you dont, take your macbook to the apple store...

I had that same message from PhotoBooth on a 2010 MBP running Lion. Soon as I connected an external cam, the built-in iSight camera came on and has been working fine ever since.

Mar 27, 2014 5:45 PM in response to Shirley154by shawnwinpigler,My webcam was not working for awhile for anything, and a thread somewhere told me to delete google chrome, and after I did then it has been working fine ever since. I don't know if you have chrome, but give it a shot if ya do.
