Is my iPhone under international warranty?

Last year (21.03.2013) I bought an iPhone 4s from Apple Store Regent Street London. One day later I returned to Turkey and I've been using it since then. One day while I was looking for a solution for a problem about my phone on Apple Discussions I was told that iPhones are under warranty only in the country they were sold and Europe is considered as one country. But soon (in April) Apple Store İstanbul is opening and since in Apple's website Turkey considered in Europe, I wonder if my device will be under warranty in Turkey?

International only within the EU

You are right! ofcourse in the EU you have guarantee where ever you are in the EU.

Add the same difference with the guarantee period: two years instead of one.

You will have to take it back to an EU country for warranty service. The warranty is not international, and for warranty purposes the EU is treated as one country.
