I have received an invitation from Doodle. It is literally invisible in Safari 6.1.1, but visible in Opera and in Internet Explorer. My Java is up-to-date, and Doodle is supposedly compatible with Safari.
Why is this happening ?

Hmm, no problem accessing or viewing the site with Safari 5.1.10 in Snow Leopard, or Safari 7.0.2 in Mavericks.
Try removing Safari's image cache. Choose Safari > Reset Safari. Turn on the one check box (as shown here) and click Reset.
Quit Safari, relaunch it and try Doodle again.
Thank you, but No, that makes no difference. By the way,the difficulty is not that the site is invisible -- it is not -- but that the invitation is.
Ah! Can't even guess then since I have no idea what an invitation for Doodle looks like. Is that something you already have to have an account for and be logged in?
No, what happens is as follows. The person wanting to schedule a meeting goes to Doodle and causes it to send an invitation to the persons that will be attending the meeting. The invitation consists of an email-message containing a link. Clicking the link opens a diary-like page with tick-boxes to indicate which dates and times are acceptable to whom.
It is the invitation that I am unable to see in Safari. If you are prepared to let me have an email-address for you, I shall see if I can manage to send you such an invitation -- to an imaginary meeting, of course --- using Opera.

Yes, that is what I sent you. I am beginning to wonder whether the difficulty is that I have so far refrained from installing Mavericks.
Safari 6 is Mountain Lion? I can't remember off the top of my head. You could try reinstalling the OS to see if it fixes Safari.
I have installed Mavericks, but it has made no difference.
Now that is odd. Reinstalling the current OS, or upgrading always clears all current cache data, which I thought may have been a possible issue. If you create a new test account and login to that, does it do the same thing?
