I have a macbook pro. The printer has gone wierd and I was trying to clean the printheads but I get the message saying this can only be done by the administrator. There is not administrator, just me , and I am sure I have done this before. Any suggestions please?

There must be another account on your computer with administrator rights, which is what it's asking for. You can reset that password if you don't know it by following the appropriate procedure below, but you'll still have to log in as the admin to do it.
