Q: This did not address importing videos. Where can I find that answer?

I cannot figure out how to get my vidoes from my iphone 5c to my MacBook Pro. Any guidance would be great. I searched Apple websites and google with no avail.

iPhone 5c, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

It is clearly written form the support document you linked from
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
You can only do so if images and videos are taken directly using the iPhone camera but not sync from computer.
