    I upgraded my wifes 4 to 7.0.6 and ever since she cannot connect to my home router that never had a problem before. I've tried the restore through itunes etc and it still wont work...

    Even when I restore to a new phone it still wont connect to my home network and thats having the phone in the same room as the router.

    New update, new problems as stated before. My faith in all things "Apple" are diminishing fast. There are 4 people in this house with various i devices. 3 of which are now afraid to update...

    No way, there are a bunch. Look at the forums with slightly different names. Same exact issue here.

    Apple tried to tell me it is a 'hardware problem which MAY have been brought out by the update'. This is Applespeak for 'YOUR problem, not OURS'.

    I have an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 5s and after updating to the new software yesterday neither of mine will work on WIFI - no matter what.  Apparently there is some type of glitch in the software according to tech support at ATT.  I was told to back up my phone on my computer and then to restore it to the factory settings and then use the backup to restore the iPhone.

    Even restored it to a new phone and then tried to get online via wifi but again it wouldnt even look at my network...

    Have you tried it on another WiFi network, say a public one at a coffee shop?

    Hi! I have an iPhone 4, and I am not very satisfied with IOS 7, since the iPhone became very slow. However, with an appropriate tuning the situation got better. Now, I am afraid that this update will be even heavier than the previous version of IOS, further slowing down my mobile. Would you suggest an update? Meanwhile I downloaded it with iTunes.

    Well my issue is that after the update, even though I can see that my phone is connected to the AT&T network, I can't make calls or send texts, every time I try either I get a call failed or text not sent, and also if people try to call me or text me they go straight to my voicemail or the get a message not received. I don't know why because my SIM card is new but I've kept my phone number with AT&T for almost 4 years and I've also used an iPhone 3GS and I didn't have any issues with the 3GS, but the 4S is having problems right after the 7.0.6 update, I've tried turning cellular data off, turning wifi off, taking the sim in and out, resetting network settings and airplane mode, but they've only fixed the issue for a minute. Also when I can finally make a call, it drops or the person I'm calling can't hear me. Please apple, please us customers are begging for a fix for these issues, I really like these devices and would love to keep on using them. Can anyone provide another solution?

    I have a 4S and have had nothing but problems lately. First my Wi-Fi was grayed out intermittently so I upgraded to 7.0.6 on the advise of AT&T. Now it’s still grayed out intermittently. The phone also reboots during phone calls and completely freezes multiple times a day. I called Apple support and did remote diagnostics with them, did a restore via iTunes to format the phone and start over, same problems still exist. They found nothing wrong other than my battery looked like it was possibly going bad. I get the same thing as others have posted "its out of warranty so the problem is mine". I really believe that these are software glitches. It’s not a hardware problem in my opinion. Or could it possibly be that my phone is almost 2 years old and its built to fail so that I have to sign another 2-year contract?

    My iphone 4s is stuck on the connect to itunes screen....Its been connected to my computer since I started the update, as its the only way I can update my phone, since my wifi button hasn't been going for the past couple of updates ago!!!!!! Same with my 4th gen ipod too!!


    Apples ********!! I used to love them but now with all the problems & demands they've been giving me to fork out $800 within a week is just unbelievable!! I can't afford that!!!!!!!!!

    Since the update my Visual VoiceMail is 'UNAVAILABE" plus text messages are randomly coming through. Sometimes they will show up on my iPhone4, sometimes on the iPad, sometimes on the Mac, just not consistant.

    Tried some of the fixes posted, but still not back to normal. Lost in the Shuffle of it all.

    Hello Lost--- me too!

      I am all Mac in my Photography Business-- I was sending an email from my iPad 3 Retnia iOS 7 and will not send-- says it updated but then I get an error message that says unable to get mail--check password--etc-- all fine--seems to send but does not post new mail--any ideas? Thanks--Lost in Maine
