Newly created DVD results in "Unknow Disk"

Newly created DVD results in "Unknow Disk" when loaded into standard DVD player. I have recently changed out HD-1 and reloaded all applications. Created sequence in FCP 7.0.3, Compressed in Compressor 3.5.3 to .ac3 & m2v. Built DVD in DVD Studio Pro 4 4.2.2. All on a MacPro 1,1 twin dual core 2.66 with 12 GB of Ram. This was a standard procedure for me before changing out HD-1. Everything worked fine then. Any suggestions? Maybe in the settings? Thanks

If the disk plays on your Mac but not in a DVD player, the best bet is you created an HD-DVD. This is a now obsolute format only supported by Apple an Toshiba. HD-DVD lost out to Blu-Ray in the market and Toshiba stopped making players years ago.

If you created an HD-DVD, you'll have to start over as there is no way to reuse any of the assets or the menus / disc structure in a DVD - they are completely different animals.

When you open DVDSP, to start the new build, make sure the disc setup is for SD DVD in the Disc info panel in Inspector.

Thank you both for your replies. I did go into DVDSP Preferences to change the default to SD DVD. It made the change for me. However, even with a new project and the new settings this window popped up when I tried to Burn.

"HVDVD_TS folder found in Build Location - ...you must remove the HVDVD_TS folder from the Build Location in order to proceed with Build/Format of a Standard DVD project"

I am having no luck finding the Build Location on my computer nor do I know if it will help. The video was captured on Panasonic P-2 720p/30pn. The sequence settings are DVC Pro HD 720p60 -- 29.97fps 960x720. It's a simple timecode burn I am trying to get onto a standard DVD. All help is appreciated. Thanks
