I have OS Mavericks and cannot have Calendar events to sync from my Mac to iCloud.

I have a working iCloud account, as I can sync back and forth from the iCloud website and my 5G ipod touch with no problems. This is very frustrating because I can see my Calendars in iCloud, but no events sync from my Mac to the iCloud website. There seems to be some sort of disconnect.

If anyone can help me with this, it would be much appreciated. It is very important for me to be able to sync my calendars between devices.

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Please try the following...

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Thank you so much. I have been through the menus more times than I can count. However, simply unchecking and rechecking the box next to the Calendars options for iCloud in step 1, provided by you solved my problem!!

Otherwise, it seems that I had everything set up properly, but just needed to 'reboot' the settings to have them take effect. Now I can go back and forth between ipod touch and Mac with no problem.
