Q: I want my deleted Gmail emails to go to trash. NOT ARCHIVE.

None of my deleted emails are going to the trash. Therefore, ALL my emails are mixed together under archive. Do I really need through them again?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your Gmail Account>Account>Advanced>Move Discarded Messages Into>Deleted Mailbox.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I have been having this issue with my settings already set up that way, as you suggested. I just found that if I go to gmail, and I uncheck the imap box for "all mail", that it could help. fingers crossed. thank you again.
