why does my ipad mini retina longer display youtube videos in 1080p?

A few weeks back i brought my ipad and was able to watch my youtube videos in 1080p. I had to have my ipad replaced for an unrelated reason. After i had it replaced i can no longer watch my youtube videos in 1080p. The highest res is 720p. Any ideas as to what can be causing this.
