Switching From Sound to Vibrate?

Hey,

I just got my first iPhone, it's a 5s. I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I can't figure out how to easily and quickly change from vibrate to sound for all messages/apps/emails.

On my Galaxy S3, I could easily change from vibrate (during the day) to sound (at night) with the touch of a button. So during the day whether I got an email, text, Kik message, Twitter notification, they would all vibrate. Then at night, when I changed it to sound, obviously every notification would have sound. Very easy to turn on and off.

I know there's a button on the side of this iPhone but that changes from silent to sound. I want to go from vibrate to sound for all notifications easily.

Can I do this? If so, how?

I'm sure this is a stupid question to regular iPhone users, but I can't figure this out. Thanks!

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

It is the mute switch on the side of the phone.

Silent is vibrate, unless you have vibrate turned off in Settings.
