I just updated my applae tv first generation and now my rented movies will not syn to the apple tv but everything else does

Apple TV, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Your first generation Apple TV can't be updated to version 6, I'm not sure what you have done that makes you think it has.
