How to disable the default browser on Safari

When I go to Develop>User Agent, Default (Automatically Chosen), shows up. I would like to use a browser of choice and make it permanent, but it will not take, even if I've changed the browser to a browser of choice in the "Preferences" area. Any suggestions as to how I can change the Default browser permanently? Thank you for your help.
