iTunes no longer allows me to rent movies in HD?

Newest version of iTunes has stopped allowing me to rent an HD movie, stating that my device cannot support it. It is the same laptop that has been full HD since I bought it, and iTunes has no problem with me buying HD tv shows. Help? (Settings in preferences for preferred download is set to 1080)
