Feb 23, 2014 7:30 AM in response to Bklyn_Girlby Csound1,The same way you did before:
I tried to go Into safe mode, and it worked,
Or if you didn't then reboot and hold the shift key down until the progress indicator appears.

Feb 23, 2014 7:36 AM in response to Bklyn_Girlby Bklyn_Girl,Ok , I'm trying that. The progress indicator comes on, the line doesn't go but maybe half way and then the circle keeps spinning on the apple screen but not doing anything else. Ugh! This is crazy! I dunno if I can even go in that mode now. I did before but it's not doing that again. What do I do now!?! It can't be that corrupt. This is not a good day!

Feb 23, 2014 7:46 AM in response to Bklyn_Girlby Csound1,Try again, and be patient, a safe start takes longer than normal. If you chose not to keep backups this may indeed be a bad day.

Feb 23, 2014 7:56 AM in response to Bklyn_Girlby Bklyn_Girl,Ok ok ok. I waiting patiently, But it's taking sooooo long now I don't think it's gonna work at all. Ahhhh, I wanna throw this thing across the room. I restart my computer, and as soon as I hear the chime, Im holding the shift key, the bar loads up about 1/3 of the way and then it goes away and the circle keeps spinning and nothing happens. What the heck mac!! I don't know if even that will work now! Yes, it's not a good thing. But I'll keep trying and hope it works. :-/

Feb 23, 2014 8:00 AM in response to Bklyn_Girlby Csound1,If it won't start you will have to look at other recovery methods, and that will involve removing the disk from your Mac and replacing it with another, then you can access the original disk as an external drive.
