That's correct. The security hole patched by iOS 6.1.6 and 7.0.6 for iOS devices is also applicable to Macs, and Apple hasn't yet released a fix for them.

It has now been 3 WHOLE DAYS since they went public about this massive security hole and I am STILL Yet to see anything in my software update about a patch for my Mac OS X Mavericks!!
I am VERY WORRIED about this security flaw!!

Also if I am understanding your earlier post correctly, does this security flaw also apply to those of us who have not yet upgraded to iOS 7?? I am currently running iOS 6.1.3 on my iPhone 4. I haven't upgraded to iOS 7 b/c my phone only has 8GB of memory and with all of my apps, photos & videos... I don't have enough space to upgrade to iOS 7 which (if I'm not mistaken) takes like 5GB to install.
When I went onto the Apple Website...
I DON'T SEE ANYTHING.... ANYWHERE ABOUT THIS SECURITY BREACH!!!
You would think that with a security breach of this magnitude, it would be put in a bit more prominent place!!
IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO to mitigate the risk to my data while I wait for Apple to come out with a patch for Mac OS X 10.9?? I do WAY TOO MUCH online to have my data at risk!!

I just tried to run the Software Update from my Apple Menu and I got this really strange error msg that I have NEVER seen before in the App Store / Software Update!!
Any ideas on this one???
Also, when I tried to update my iPhone 4 iOS from 6.1.3 to 6.1.6
THE ONLY OPTION
it gave me was to upgrade to 7.0.6....
But I don't have enough memory to update to iOS 7!!
I'm also about to upgrade to the new iPhone 5c so it makes NO SENSE !!
Not to mention the fact that it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade iOS 7 on a phone that doesn't have enough space to download the file to!!
Does anybody have any ideas on how to work around this one??
I just checked out the link you sent but what's the difference between the 10.9.2 & the 10.9.2 (Combo)?

Your posts are very hard to read with the different fonts and colours and sizes and really hurt the eye. It is not physically impossible to upgrade iOS7. You need to backup you phone using itunes and then get rid of some music/photos/videos that can be restored after updating, using the backup you made.
As for the OSX update, try here

Nope. It applied to any unsecured or poorly secured network, including a home LAN.
