How do you start AirMac to start back at fact. Settings?

I installed the new software and when they asked to reboot I had to put the password back in after it was all finished and it never worked. I NO the one i am using is correct bc I wrote it down and yelled it to others. How do you get it back to the factory settings. Thanks for anyone oith there that's laughing at my stupidity !
