I lost my audio after updating my ipad mini to ios 7.0.6. What should i do?

Try reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Note: Data will not be affected.

Make sure sound is not muted (little bell)

Just updated to IOS 7.0.6 and had the sound issues.

This is what fixes it. Go to settings and set ( USE SLIDE SWITCH TO). LOCK ROTATION

Swipe up at bottom of screen to open sound bar. If the BELL is stroked out leave it.. The sounds will work.

If the BELL is not stroked out then tap on it to stroke it out. Sounds will now work.

Just wasted 2 hours trying to figure it out. Either dedicated or stupid. You decide if it works for you too

The solution worked for my iPhone 4s as well. I think I did reset it before but somehow it worked after I red you prost. THANKS 🙂
