I have just made an itunes account and whenevr i try and access itunes store it wants me to enter bank details, i am only 15 therefore i have no bank details and im only interested in using itunes giftcards to purchase music. How do i get into the store without needing bank details?
you can download stuff and rent stuff just by installing itunes and creating a simple apple i.d. i purchase gift cards from the suppermarket with cash and redeem the codes online so that i don't have to add any card details
That's what I'm trying to do but whenever I access iTunes Store it says I need bank details or i can't get in
Unless you use the instructions on this page when creating a new account (the instructions won't work with existing accounts) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used in the store.
If you don't have a credit card then you will need to create a new account, and this time follow the instructions on that page when creating it. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on your existing account first e.g. via http://appleid.apple.com or by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
