Q: my photos are not uploading to icloud it says its on but no photo icon or photos can be found

Photo stream photos do not appear on icloud.com if that's where you are looking.  You have to view them on a device or computer that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled.  If your photos appear in your My Photo Stream album, they were successfully added to your photo stream.

Also, photo stream photos don't use your iCloud account storage, so purchasing additional storage isn't necessary.  If you don't need the additional storage for anything else and you purchased it within the last 15 days, you can contact the Apple online store at the number listed on the bottom of this page for a refund.
