Q: How does block this caller work? Is there an outgoing message?

I've selected "block this caller" on my phone? How does it work? Is there an outgoing message if the blocked number calls again?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

No there isn't. The call does not come through to you and the caller has no idea they have been blocked. You might want to take a look at this support document. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5845

I've never tried it, but some say it goes to voicemail but you will not get the voicemail, some say it rings busy. I'll have to try it one day if it does not explain it in the support document that I sent to you.
