Q: My surface pro don't always see my iPhone to tether. How can I solve this.

You might want to ask MS why they designed a device to be incompatible with iPhones.  Just can't imagine why they would do that...

Well i have an iPhone and a iPad and yet have never had issues with them with MS products

I would suggest finding a surface support forum, just because not many people here have one and wouldn't be able to troubleshoot it.

Found this in another forum and it worked for me:

Get rid of any special character(s) in the name of your phone (Settings -> General -> about -> Name). Reboot and try again. (like an apostrophe)
