Unaccessible icon on menu bar

Hello all!

I am currently runnign 10.8.5 on my MBP. There is a green cloud surrounded in a black circle icon on my menu bar. I do not know what it is or why it is there. Every time I mouse over it, I get the spinning beach ball of death. Please help!
