I pod touch not responding

Why would apple make updates to itunes like this if u have to go through deleting i tunes and reinstalling it. What happens to all my music, aps etc. Will i have to reload all of them too? Or do i loose them?

If you follow Appl'es instructions, your iTunes media library is not effected

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8


However, yoo should always backup your media library
