My family has multiple iPhones, iPads, and iPods that need charging daily. Instead of taking up all available outlets in the house, can I use a multi port powered USB Hub that is used for a computer to charge them all in one place?
As long as it provides enough current for charging an iPad. The power output needs to be 10watts or the iPad will at best complain and then if you are lucky it might trickle charge very very slowly.
That will depend on how much power the powered hub can put out through the USB ports. Likely you can charge iPhones and iPods. Charging iPads may not be possible though, as they require much more power than iPhones or iPods.
